Not having heard the term before, I went on the Internet and found you! I have been doing some work that's not totally unlike this before I'd ever heard of Zentangle. I came to it when I found a reproduction of a mixed media piece by a French artist, Genieveve Seille. Using her as an inspiration, I created my own pen, ink, acrylic. Then I went from there and did a few more pieces. I have photos of them in Picasa, which I'll send you. I am sharing your work with a group where I live (a Continuing Care Retirement Community -CCRC - in Haverford, PA) that works together in the Fine Arts Studio here. They are very excited about it.
